Burbank Employees Give A Hand To Habitat

habitat fladCity officials along city executives got together on Friday to lend a helping hand building the eight houses that Habitat For Humanity is partnering to build in Burbank with the help of hundreds of other volunteer helpers. (Right) City Manager Mike Flad working with a left handed hammer, found out hammers are a lot heavier than executive pens, and Deputy City Manager Joy Forbes (below right) enjoyed donning a ‘Hard Hat’ for the event, while Mayor Jess Talamantes (below left) who retired from The Burbank Fire Dept. found out that a metal crowbar is easier to handle than some of the decisions he’s has to make on the council.
