Burbank Police and Fire started receiving several 911 calls right around 2:00 am, that there has been a accident at Parish and Victory.  Reports were that there was an overturned pickup truck with someone still inside with injuries.

Burbank Police were first on scene and closed off Victory in both directions and awaited the arrival of the Fire Department’s Engine 14 along with Rescue Ambulance 13,  Truck 11, and a Battalion Chief.  The people inside the truck were able to get out on their own without a physical rescue so the truck and  Chief were cancelled.

The victim was treated by Burbank Paramedics and transported to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center with head and other injuries. The driver of the other auto was given several options of  sobriety tests, which were administered and it was determined he was under the influence, and was arrested, taken to Saint Joseph’s to be checked prior to being booked at the Glendale jail.
