Yosemite Valley Art Installation Unveiled On John Muir Day

John Muir Middle School celebrated the statewide John Muir Day with the unveiling of the “Yosemite Valley” art installation on campus. The massive art work was created by local artist Randall Williams with help from Muir art students.

A Los Angeles teenager going door-to-door selling chocolates was arrested for arson after setting a small fire in an alley near Alameda and Shelton. An observant neighborhood resident was key in alerting police.

Man Arrested For Transporting Guns Not Registered To Him

The five handguns recovered by police on Sunday were not stolen, but were being transported to a local firing range by a man who was not registered to own them. Misdemeanor charges are expected to be filed in the case.
