Miss Country Western USA Pageant Moving Back to Burbank

Due to unforeseen scheduling circumstances, the “Miss Country Western USA” Pageant is now being held in Southern California. The pageant which will assist UN-Married Girls, ages 16-29 into a show business connection, in their reach for the crown, and awards ranging up to $3,000 in Cash, Prizes and Bonds, has been slated for the show business mecca of the Hollywood area.

The scheduled date of Saturday, August 11th will remain the same. All the contestants who compete will have that Hollywood Connection Opportunity, as the judges from inside the industry continue to be in place.

According to officials at the pageant, “We tried something in placing the pageant into a resort community, however, it really belongs in Southern California where the excitement of the Hollywood Connection abounds with opportunity for those driven to such a career that can be honed and pursued.”

The opportunity to experience the refinement and the positive attitude gained with self-promotion and building self-confidence can be achieved by performing in a pageant. This is a compelling consideration for becoming a contestant.

There were many considerations that came into play in making the bold move to reel the pageant back to Southern California, according to Pageant Officials.

The new venue in staging the pageant has been secured, and official announcement will be made within the week by the Host Community.

By bringing the pageant home where the crown originated and into the midst of the excitement of the entertainment industry, it has added additional promotional packages connected with Hollywood Agencies to the new “Miss Country Western USA” and her Court.

The Burbank based Pageant, to enhance the opportunities for contestants, has turned its focus on the best interests of all contestants.

Special Southern California accommodations are being arranged for out of the area contestants while the field of participation is expected to increase. The pageant is open to all qualified residents of the United States.

The pageant is scheduled to be held on Saturday August 11th. The shift in venue, to where more available industry judges reside, will allow this pageant to be held in a single day.

In view of this relocation of the pageant, new applicants have been extended to the end of July.

areas to capture the title on August 11th In Morro Bay, which is a little resort fishing village, less than 200 miles North from L.A.

The Pageant, which is looking to crown the 2012-2013 “Miss Country Western USA” decided to hold the festivities in Morro Bay, as that community provides a good site for the contestants to relax, and remember the good times, and new friends they made by stepped onto the stage in a National Pageant. The white sandy beaches, world acclaimed restaurants, sea lion park, picturesque Bay, laced with sea otters and fishing boats are only the tip of the iceberg as your eyes pan up to the Monolithic Morro Rock standing sentry over this quiet community.

The promoters are working with the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce to insure a wonderful time for each contestant. More than a Pageant, the Western Styles, inexpensive outfits, and casual family friendly event, promises to be there for every contestant into her future, with references, and friends they make in their quest for the crown on August 11.

This pageant will be judged by Hollywood Talent Agents, Casting Directors, and the Founders of the Academy of Country Music Awards.

The new queen will be crowned and receive $2,500 in CASH – Prizes –and- Bonds, with the opportunity to win more in the Pageant Essay Contest and other opportunities, which could total upwards of $3,000.

The “Motto” of the Pageant Executive Producer and Staff is “WE BELIEVE IN EVERY GIRL” In standing by that motto, everyone connected with the pageant is instructed to assist every contestant, in every way possible.

LOOKING FOR THE BEST! “The pageant is about the girl inside and out.” “A total beauty, not just nice toenails”. According to Pageant Executive Producer, Jim Etter. “No clutter with talent requirements, or staged swimwear; this conservative pageant is about the girl, her beauty, knowledge of local and world events. Not how well she can play a banjo.” According to Etter

Girls seeking a career in show-business will have the opportunity to meet some inside personnel from Hollywood, and the top 25 will be permitted to submit head-shots and resumes to reps who will pass them along as they arrive back in Hollywood.

Thinking this pageant is too expensive for being held in an up-scale resort community like Morro Bay? Think again. With many pageants starting above $800 for application fees, and more as you compete in various trophy divisions, Miss Country Western USA is a flat $135 which includes everything. The Crown Runner-up’s and conditional Trophy Awards and the $500 Essay Contest, are all inclusive.

Recruiting in the Burbank and local area will only take place during the next 4 weeks, with cut-off being July 1st, 2012. Limited to the 1st 100 contestants, the Pageant offers every contestant opportunity for the spotlight, during this 2-day regalia.
