Burbank Police Release Picture of Suspect That Robbed AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union

On Friday morning, December 28,  at approximately 9:15 a.m., Burbank Police officers responded to the 3800 block of Riverside Drive to the AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union regarding a bank robbery that had just occurred.

Officers were informed by bank personnel that an African-American female, 45 – 48 years-old, 5’6”, medium build, approached one of the tellers and demanded money. The suspect then escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled westbound from the bank.

The Burbank Police Department is asking that anyone who may recognize the individual in the photo or may have seen any suspicious activity leading up to the robbery to contact Detective Lamoureaux at (818) 238-3246 or BPD at (818) 238-3000.

The investigation is on-going.

The Burbank Police Department is asking that anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious person or activity leading up to the robbery to contact BPD at (818) 238-3000.

Woman Hit By Car In Front Of Handy Market

Burbank Police and Firefighters responded to the 2500 block of W. Magnolia Blvd. on Saturday afternoon,  after several citizens called 911 to report that a woman had been  struck on by a car in front of the Handy Market.

Police responded “Code 3″ (red lights and siren) along with firefighters.  When they  arrived on scene, they found a woman lying in the number one lane of eastbound traffic.    Paramedics treated the unidentified victim at the scene, and transported her to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center with the complaint of pain.

Several traffic officers started interviewing all the witnesses who saw the accident happen.  On Saturdays, the Handy Market sets up a large grill in their parking lot, and sells barbecued tri-tip and chicken.   Additional officers blocked Magnolia Blvd. in both directions until the accident was cleared up.

Burbank Fire Paramedics treated a female pedestrian who was struck while crossing the street at Magnolia Blvd. and Shelton St.

Burbank Police closed Magnolia Blvd. while they investigated the accident. Burbank Paramedics transported the unidentified injured woman to LA County USC Medical Center with unknown injuries.
