The CPOA is a statewide organization that provides focused resources for leadership development and personal growth to law enforcement officers throughout the state. The CPOA/ COPSWEST annual event is the premier law enforcement expo in the west encompassing a tradeshow and educational offerings for law enforcement officers throughout the United States.

Burbank Police Department representatives will be on hand to receive the award from CPOA officials at their annual COPSWEST convention on October 15, 2012, in Ontario, California. The Ford Police Cruiser will be on display throughout the three-day convention.

The police cruiser has been completely restored through generous donations received from local businesses and individuals. The 1949 Police Cruiser has been seen around town at such events as Burbank on Parade and Fire/Police Service day. It can also be viewed up close in the museum at the Burbank Police station.
