The annual Creative Arts Center Burbank Holiday Boutique, now in its 28th year, runs December 2 through 15, offering many handmade gifts and works by artisans.
Pottery, paintings, jewelry, photographs, ornaments, clothing and mosaics are some of the locally-crafted items shoppers may browse. Items range in price from $3 to over $100.
“The Boutique is available to students, instructors and members of the Fine Arts Federation,” said gallery director Frances Santisteven. “Although there are many applicants we can only accommodate approximately 70 exhibitors.”
“The event is very well received and we have doubled our clientele over the last 10 years, and we continue to grow. Many of our shoppers look forward to the Holiday Boutique and come to do their Christmas shopping here every year. It is the ‘highlight’ of the year for many.”
Burbank Holiday Boutique hours are Friday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
