The Jefferson Elementary School Booster Club has come up with Food Truck Friday to help raise funds for the Burbank school during these tough economic times.

The Booster Club funds many important programs at the school such as music, library and computer. These are programs that the school would otherwise be unable to offer to students due to limited budgets.

There were three food trucks on campus and proceeds from food sales will be donated to the school.  By far the most popular truck was the Los Angeles Shaved Ice truck that brought much welcomed relief on a day that temperatures were over 100 degrees in Burbank.
