The Community Band played, flags waved, and several took time out on Flag Day to honor our flagat a Flag Day Observance at The Burbank Tennis Center. Awards were given during a presentation to winners of art projects from all of Burbank’s schools. Pictured above is Demini Koku with her first place art piece, and a photo (left) completed by John Burroughs High School student Ashley Pafford. The Boy Scout Troop conducted a historic Flag Ceremony, Flag Salute, and the event was finished with a rendition of Star Spangled Banner by the Burbank Community Band.
