Paul Gerard has officially filed as a candidate for the Burbank Board of Education, District 3 seat, and is now campaigning to earn the support of voters in the district.
Gerard and his wife Angie moved from West Los Angeles to Burbank 17 years ago so their son Charlie could start kindergarten in a great school system. They made Burbank their home because of its schools. Charlie graduated from Burroughs High School in 2024 and is now attending Pasadena City College.
Although he is running to represent District 3, Gerard says he is committed to serving the interests of the entire Burbank Unified School District if elected. His campaign centers on restoring sound governance and fiscal stability to BUSD.
“As a trustee of the Burbank Board of Education, I will work to ensure that there are strategic plans that support student achievement by keeping the education of Burbank’s youth as the top priority of the district,” Gerard said.
