The standard blue-and-yellow interior of IKEA Burbank transformed into a hub of music, tradition, and rich cultural heritage on Sunday, November 1st, as the store hosted a special Día de los Muertos celebration.

Shoppers and local families gathered inside the store for an afternoon filled with traditional live performances honoring the beloved Mexican holiday.

The celebration kicked off with live music by Mariachi Mexico Lindo, whose traditional horns and string arrangements filled the showroom floor. Following the music, Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca took the stage, captivating the crowd with traditional regional dances, vibrant costumes, and energetic storytelling.

The free event was open to the community on a first-come, first-served basis, bringing together local residents for an afternoon of remembrance, culture, and festivities right in the heart of Burbank and offering Burbank families a unique mix of afternoon entertainment and cultural connection, marking another festive community gathering in the city.
