
Burbank Firefighters and Police received several calls of a bike down after a collision in the intersection of Riverside Drive and Pass Ave. While the emergency equipment was rushing to the scene they were updated that the bike was actually a motorcycle rider down and the rider was still laying in the roadway.

Burbank Police upgraded the call and had several units respond ‘Code Three’ lights and siren upon their arrival Burbank Fire were just arriving on scene.
Burbank Fire Engine Companies now have a paramedic on each piece of equipment and in this case it was very beneficial as the rider suffered moderate injuries and was in great pain. Burbank Rescue Ambulance 15 arrived on scene and packaged the rider up after splinting his leg. They gave him pain medicine and transported him to a local hospital.
Burbank Police Traffic Units marked the location of the motorcycle and the resting place of the car for further investigation by their traffic investigator.
The intersection remained closed while the on scene investigation took place and the motorcycle and cars could be towed away.
