An almost empty business located at 1701 W. Verdugo Avenue was broken into between 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, and 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6.
Officers responded to take a report at 9:04 a.m. on Tuesday, after an employee discovered the rear door to the business open, according to Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department.
“On checking the interior, the employee observed several interior doors open and a hole in the west wall of the building,” added Ryburn.
One of the wood planks lining the western wall outside of the business was removed by unknown suspects and used to break a on-e by three-foot hole in the wall to gain entry.
Suspects stole an Apple minicomputer and two hard drives and then exited the business through the rear door, said Ryburn.
The business, QMetrx, was temporarily leasing the site during construction at their permanent site.
