Police arrested James Mercado (26) after they say that he was driving under the influence after the car he was driving jumped a curb, hitting a planter at a residence.
The accident occurred around 12:30 am at the corner of Mariposa and Clark last Friday.
There were no injuries or other parties involved. Mercado was arrested for DUI and is scheduled to appear in court on October 23rd.
