The streets were wet following a night of rain as morning customers lined up for their normal cup of brew at the Coffee Bean located on San Fernando Blvd.

Around 7:10 a.m. a male driver in his mid teens went driving into the AT&T Phone store at the corner of Magnolia and San Fernando Blvd. He was traveling at such a high rate of speed he went directly through the phone store hitting a adjoining wall with the Coffee Bean next door.
Employees evacuated the store when the wall came crashing in and the front of a BMW appeared.
Burbank Fire responded and requested Burbank building inspectors along with Public Works after a pedestrian walk signal was plowed down in the cars path.
The AT&T store remained closed most of the day following the accident and the Coffee Bean cleared the debris and opened later in the day.
Burbank traffic officers responded to a high number of accidents on Tuesday, and they made recommendations to slow down and travel cautiously in the weather conditions.
