The premiere event of Burbank’s year-long momentous centennial celebration, Burbank on Parade is proud to announce 100 year-old Burbank residents, Genevieve Cowden Sultenfuss and Otto W. Jensen as Grand Marshal’s of this year’s parade! Ms. Sultenfuss graduated Burbank High School in 1928 and Mr. Jensen is a professional actor and photographer!

The parade will kick with the Centennial Birthday Cake Float which will broadcast, “Happy Birthday Burbank” a song written in honor of the occasion. The cake float is a creation of Burbank’s Keith Kaminski Design and is being constructed as a joint effort between the Burbank Tournament of Roses Association and the Burbank on Parade Committee. In keeping with the birthday theme, spectators along the parade route will be given festive party hats, compliments of Shafer Electric.

Mark your calendar as you’re invited, Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 am to Burbank’s 100th Birthday Bash on Olive Avenue from Keystone to Lomita.
