A 38 year-old father was arrested after leaving his 14 month-old baby girl unattended in a vehicle Thursday morning around 11:45 am. Officers arrived at the Costco store, located at 1051 West Burbank Blvd, and found a baby inside the vehicle sitting in a car seat. The baby was sleeping and sweating and the vehicle was locked and had all four door windows slightly opened. Officers were able to open the vehicle and remove the baby, calling the paramedics who arrived and medically examined the baby and determined she was okay. Approximately ten minutes later, the father, identified as Edik Magardomyan (38) of Glendale, returned to the vehicle and was placed under arrest for child endangering. A heat sensor gauged the inside vehicle temperature to be 115 degrees. The child was transported to the police station and will be released to the custody of the Department of Children Services.
