Accident at Magnolia & Victory Ties Up Traffic

UPDATE 9/26/13: Myrna Harb, 23, was headed eastbound on Magnolia Blvd. approaching the intersection with Victory Blvd. in a red Toyota Corolla, when a silver Toyota Corolla driven by a 17 year old female, turned in front of her vehicle, causing the accident. A passenger in the silver Corolla was taken to a local hospital for her injuries. The driver of the silver Corolla was cited for failure to yield to thru traffic. ##

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the intersection of Magnolia Blvd. and Victory Blvd. around 7:00 p.m. last night, September 24, for a two-car traffic accident. Paramedics treated a passenger of one of the cars and found it necessary to transport her to Providence Holy Cross Trauma Center with injuries.

This intersection has been the scene of several accidents in recent weeks, causing traffic nightmares for those navigating it with emergency equipment in the intersection. The accident investigation is ongoing.
