Following the Burbank Primary Municipal Election, Dr. Armond Aghakhanian finished in the top spot for the April runoff with a solid 3710 votes. Dr. Armond, as he is known to friends and students, will be heading towards a run-off in the April 14th General Election.
Since the strong primary showing, the campaign has earned more endorsements from Burbank’s local elected leaders, including Roberta Reynolds and Steve Ferguson. Both Reynolds and Ferguson won outright in the primary election by garnering more than 50% of the votes. Since the March primary elections, Dr. Armond has earned the endorsements of all of the members of Burbank School Board, all of the Burbank City Council and all of Burbank’s county, state and federal legislators. In an unprecedented show of support, all of the elected officials in the region representing Burbank can agree on one thing – that Dr. Armond is the right person for the Burbank School Board.
