More than 250 people celebrated as Belmont Village Senior Living Burbank turned 10 years-old this week. The all-American themed anniversary featured typical summer favorites such as hot dogs and hamburgers, watermelon, ice-cream and peanuts.
Musical entertainment included a Dixieland Band and a Barbershop Quartet. Belmont Village executive director Cathy Ellis presided over a recognition ceremony with Assistant Fire Chief Tom Lenahan and Burbank Chamber of Commerce executive director Gary Olson.
The Burbank Road Kings also brought several classic cars for display.
The Belmont Village community, located on the former site of the Burbank Community Hospital, is celebrating its strong tie to Burbank history through a new photography exhibit called Burbank is Our Kind of Town with photos supplied by the Burbank Historical Society.
