Bob Hope Airport to Host Workshop for Land Use Study

The Burbank Bob Hope Airport and the City of Burbank have embarked on a joint Ground Transportation and Land Use Planning Study.  The goal of the Transportation Study is to develop ground transportation improvements that will allow the Airport to serve as a multi-modal regional transportation hub.  The Land Use Study is intended to identify transit oriented development opportunities in the Airport area to take advantage of its transportation connections.

The Burbank Bob Hope Airport and City of Burbank encourage you to become involved with the planning process by attending a community workshop on June 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.   We need your help to understand your concerns about transportation and planning issues that affect the area around the Airport.  Come to the workshop and participate in discussions and planning/visioning exercises.  Make your point of view part of the vision for the future of the area.  The workshop is open to the public and we urge you to invite your friends and neighbors.

Workshop details are as follows:

5:30 – Open House

6:15 – Discussion/visioning exercises
