Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley was awarded a $27,000 grant from Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation to fund remodeling of needed areas of the Club. The kitchen received a new sink, counter tops and cabinets. Every window received new treatments, Technology Lab received new carpeting, and the dance room received a new dance floor.
Local business, The Cusumano Development Company, donated paint for the rooms to look brighter and local painting contractor Lou Lentz applied the paint as his gift to the club.
During the summers, the facility serves over 250 youth a day.
