Burbank Elks Lodge #1497, located at 2232 N. Hollywood Way, will be holding their 3rd Annual Community Service Awards night, Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Four individuals will be honored for their dedication and commitment to serving the Burbank community.
They are: Burbank Police Officer of the Year, Officer Harry Terrill, Burbank Fire Fighter of the Year, Fire Fighter Grant Stephens, Burbank City Employee of the Year, Ari Omessi from the Burbank Water and Power, and Burbank School Teacher of the Year, Rebecca Mieliwocki from the Luther Middle School.
Officials from the Burbank City Council and City Departments, Burbank Police Department, Burbank Fire Departments and Burbank Unified School District will be present to participate in the program. There will be a no-host cocktail at 5 pm, dinner at 6 pm, served by BSA Troop 210, and the program at 7 pm. Cost of the dinner is $12.00 per person.
All members and their guests are welcome.
