BurbankNBeyond’s Deborah Dodge traveled to Burbank’s Fire Department Training Center, which was the home of this years CERT Invitational 2011, involving the teams from Los Angeles City, LASD County Cert, NBC-Universal ERT, Rancho Cucamonga Cert, and Simi Valley Cert. The teams competed in several exercises that they would have to preform if they were called out during an emergency, such as Cribbing, Search, Disaster medical/treatment area, CERT Knowledge written Exam, Triage and Fire Suppression.. The victims were local students who had the best makeup supplied by local makeup supplier Cinema Secrets.
