In a message warmly welcomed by Burbank residents, Captain Peter Hendrickson, Public Information Officer with the Burbank Dire Department, confirmed Station 14 survived budget cuts for the next fiscal year.

Serving West Burbank from 2305 W. Burbank Blvd, Fire Station 14 houses a single fire engine, as well as maintaining and testing safety gear for all stations.  According to the Verdugo Fire Communications Center, Station 14 averages more than 1300 calls per year.

The Burbank Fire Department operates 6 stations within Burbank, and participates with 11 additional cities in the area’s “Unified Response” collaboration integrating 43 fire stations and more than 170 emergency vehicles from Monrovia to Burbank into a single borderless fire district.
