Burbank Firefighters are proudly wearing pink t-shirts this month in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. So if you see a local firefighter in action, please say thank you for they represent the best in Burbank and their care to help others through action or by simply wearing a pink t-shirt is appreciated by many.
Everyone is included in the campaign including fire inspectors, clerical staff, and others.
The public can also buy the shirts from a special website set-up for the occasion at: http://www.burbankfirefightershop.com/ along with buying them at the front office of the Fire Department, located at Third and Orange Grove. All proceeds from the sales are being given to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
