Burbank Man Arrested For Pipe Bombs On Rose Street

Burbank Police arrested Gregory George, age 50 and a Burbank resident, on two felony charges connected to the discovery of two explosive devices on the 1900 block of Rose Street last Friday, February 28. George was released from a medical facility after an evaluation on Tuesday, March 4, and was subsequently arrested that same day by BPD officers for violations of penal code 18715 (A)3 and 18720.

Burbank Police discovered the the items which appeared to be consistent with pipe bombs or other explosive devices while they were serving a warrant at the Rose Street address, said Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department.

There is no further danger to residents in the area or the community in general related to this incident, added Ryburn.
