Burbank Police were conducting a probation compliance check on the 3200 block of Chandler Friday morning where they say they found a Burbank man to be in possession of a loaded semi-automatic gun.  The gun was reported stolen from a San Bernardino home during a burglary.

Bruce Horwood (52 years-old) was arrested for possession or under custody or control of any firearm, which is a felony and was booked at the Burbank Police Jail.  He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday Sept 23rd.

While police were at the home, they checked on the VIN number of a motorcycle engine after they found the VIN number on the motorcycle had been filed off and covered with tape and found it to be stolen.

Miguel Angel Huezo (29) of Sun Valley, a registered sex offender who was present at a residence during a probation compliance check was also taken into custody from the Chandler home for possession of a stolen motorcycle.  A records check of the motorcycle’s engine VIN number revealed the motorcycle had been reported stolen in Burbank on June 6.

Huezo was arrested for possession of stolen property and booked the Burbank Jail.  He posted $20,000.00 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on October 16th.
