Burbank Noon Kiwanis celebrated the beginning of their planned GALA events with a talk before the Burbank Chamber of Commerce where brochures requesting sponsors and explaining our event were given to members. Marsha Jackson and Gary Peterson spoke to the audience as Harvey Branman photographed the event. March 9th the Gala committee will take over the Kiwanis meeting to excite and inspire the members and guests to become involved in the fundraising Gala, to take place on June 4th at the Lakeside Golf Club. Other interesting meetings planned for March are March 2, Tom Cotrel, March 16, Martin Cooper, March 23, Andrew Mikiel, March 30, Carole Marlowe and Jaron Sorkow. All are welcome to attend to learn about the Kiwanis efforts in the community and to enjoy lunch. Please contact Cynthia Faust, 818 242-2261 to reserve a place at our meeting.
