The Burbank Noon Rotary Club is preparing to host its highly anticipated Casino Night fundraiser, an evening dedicated to fun, fellowship, and philanthropy. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18 starting at 6 p.m., promising a night of games and community spirit to raise crucial funds for local and international service projects.
The event, which will be held at the Burbank Association of Realtors, will transform the venue and offer guests the chance to try their luck at poker, blackjack, and roulette. The primary goal of the evening is to bring the community together for a memorable night while raising money to support the Burbank Noon Rotary Club’s extensive charitable work.
The success of the event is made possible by a wave of generous support from local businesses and dedicated individuals. The Burbank Association of Realtors has stepped up not only as the location host but also as a top-tier Poker Sponsor. Additional Poker Sponsors include longtime Rotary member Kevin Knapp and his wife Marina, as well as current club secretary Lynn Lipinski and member Steve Arakawa.
Blackjack Sponsorships have been secured by the iconic Road Kings of Burbank, who will also be managing the bar service for the evening, and College Help Squad, a local college admissions consulting firm co-founded by Burbank Noon Rotary President Cynthia Wagner.
The Roulette level has also seen an outpouring of support from community leaders, including Albert and Elizabeth Hernandez of HomeAgain LA, with Albert being a Past President of the club and a Past Rotary District Governor. The Volpei Gussow Real Estate Group, the Burbank Sunrise Rotary Club, Dr. and Mrs. Keith Sanneman, and the Akuin family have also joined as Roulette sponsors. Jessa Markham, a past club president and the club’s current Member of the Month, along with her husband Jared, have also contributed a Roulette sponsorship.
Funds raised from the Casino Night will directly support the Burbank Noon Rotary Foundation, which funds a wide array of projects. These include providing scholarships for local students, supporting literacy programs, and contributing to international health and sanitation initiatives.
