Police Arrest Internet Predator Accused of ‘Sexting’ Teenaged Girl

Police arrested a 48 year-old Burbank man who is accused of sending sexually explicit email messages to a 15 year-old girl in Arizona.
The case against Stephen Fowlow of Burbank, began when the Lake Havasu, Arizona Police Department notified their counterparts here that they were investigating a potential internet predator who was “sexting” (the sending of sexually explicit photos) with a minor.  Burbank Police conducted a parallel investigation of Fowlow.
On Thursday, Burbank Police served search warrants at Fowlow’s residence and place of employment, both of which are in Burbank.  During the search they uncovered additional evidence showing that he was involved with sexting other minors, as well as being in possession of child pornography.
Fowlow was placed under arrest for child exploitation, sending harmful matter to a minor, and possession of illegal firearms.  He is being held in Los Angeles County Jail in lieu of $160,000 bail.
Because there is a possibility that Fowlow may be involved with other victims, police are asking that anyone who has information about the suspect contact Detective Faggiano at 818-238-3253 or Sergeant Ryburn at 818-238-3272.
