Burbank Police Identify Victim of Traffic Accident

On Sunday, December 2, at 5:32 a.m., Burbank police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Buena Vista Street, regarding a traffic collision.

Paramedics were on scene by 5:46 am determined that one of the involved parties was deceased. The deceased driver was later identified as 33 year-old Burbank resident Roman Ramos Rubio.

The initial investigation revealed the driver of the second vehicle was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and was operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license. The driver was identified as 29 year-old Burbank resident Ivan Jesus Valle.

Valle was booked for Vehicular Manslaughter (191.5(A) P.C.) and he is currently being held at the Burbank Jail, in lieu of $100,000 bail. The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration. Valle is scheduled for arraignment on December 4,  at 8:30 a.m. at the Burbank Superior Court.
