Burbank Police Investigating a Double Shooting

Burbank police and paramedics received a 911 call at 12:49 p.m. Monday for a possible victim of a gunshot wound at 3615 San Fernando (near Hollywood Way) at a storage lot in Burbank. Bob Hope Airport Police were the first on scene and confirmed they had two shooting victims.

Paramedics took the female victim to the hospital while the other victim was reported as deceased on arrival. The dead male was found in a big rig with a gunshot wound to the head.

Police were not looking for an active shooter and said there was no danger to the public in what might have been an attempt at a murder / suicide although police would not comment during the on-going investigation.

There are no suspects at this time and the area has been sealed off as a crime scene. All of the people inside the storage center have been detained as the investigation continues.

Some of the lanes on Cohasset and Hollywood Way have been shut down to traffic.
