Burbank Police have issued a crime alert for the areas around 300 block to 1300 block of Lamer, Myers, Lincoln and Frederick after a series of recent auto burglaries hit the area. On January 6 – 7, 2011, from the evening to early morning hours, these neighborhoods suffered a rash of thefts from vehicles. The majority of the thefts were items taken from vehicles that had been left unlocked. This Crime Alert is to inform and remind vehicle owners in the Burbank community to lock their vehicles and to take valuable items with them or keep them out of view.
