Instead of going to the range to do target practice, Police Officers, Captains, even the Deputy Chief, along with cadets, explorers, clerical employees and some retired officers of The Burbank Police Department, showed up on Wednesday to work on The Centennial House. It’s one of the residences being built and remodeled as part of The Habitat for Humanity’s Project on Elliott & Keeler. Officers grabbed hammers, crowbars, and other hand tools to complete the work, as part of the community effort in finishing the project on time.
