Burbank Resident Arrested On Multiple Charges After Petty Theft From Sears

On Monday, December 9, 49-year-old Burbank resident Brett Fritsch was stopped by Sears loss prevention officers at 3:05 p.m. for attempting to take two bottles of cologne from the store at 111 E. Magnolia Blvd. Burbank Police were called, and during the booking process, Vicodin pills were discovered in Mr. Fritsch’s sock, along with other suspected controlled-substance pills. Additionally, a MTA Transit Pass in a different individual’s name was found in Mr. Fritsch’s wallet and BPD also noted Mr. Fritsch had a $10,000 LAPD warrant for misdemeanor hit and run.

Mr. Fritsch was arrested for misdemeanor petty theft and two felony charges for unauthorized use of another person’s identity and possession of narcotics and booked into the Burbank Jail. His bail is set at $50,000 and he is due in court on December 11.
