Burbank Water and Power (BWP) has introduced a new, free service for Burbank residents: the ability to view their energy usage online. At their secure site, BWP residential customers will be able to see their energy usage by year, monthly bill period, day – and even hourly.
The site also provides each residence with comparisons to their ‘neighbors,’ a group of about 100 homes located close by and of the same approximate square footage. In this way, households can see how they compare to others.
Residents will also be able to set a 5% energy-reduction goal that will be tracked for them online, and can use the extensive library to get hundreds of energy-saving tips.
To use the site, Burbank residents simply need to go to www.BurbankWaterAndPower.com/EnergyReports and have their BWP Account Number handy to log in.
