Burbank’s Tournaments of Roses design that was turned in to Pasadena has been officially approved to be entered into the 2014 Rose Parade.
In the design, a train is chugging along and heading for a damsel in distress, with our hero chasing to save her, and our villain running the locomotive engine…..
Currently called, Movie Magic since it also incorporates a director, a camera man, and more.
Final design is being worked on by the BTOR’s Design Committee, and hope to have a new rendering by sometime in April.
Bill and Carol Cotter from Granada Hills, CA and Stacia Martin from Brea, CA designed the entry titled “Movie Magic”.
This is their third time winning the Design Contest (previous floats were 2005’s “Dinner’s on…FIRE!” and 2008’s “Oktoberfest”).
Their design will represent Burbank in the 125th Rose Parade themed “Dreams Come True”.
