Couples planning their wedding can check out all aspects of making their day a memorable one during the third annual Bridal Show from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Burbank Town Center.Admission is free so everyone can experience what’s new from reception locales, weddings cakes and photography to make-up, jewelry and invitations. Vendors will be available to talk about their unique offerings, all in one place at the same time, which will save a lot of running around for couples and their families.

bridal-fashion-1Sam Horrigan is scheduled again to host the festivities that will include a fashion show, cake tastings and entertainment.Adding to the excitement of the day, all the vendors will be offering raffle prizes worth $100 or more, said Linda Maxwell, marketing and events coordinator for the Burbank Town Center.

Mobile business BeautiControl’s Spa ESCAPE will be offering an anti-aging treatment valued at $225. The company offers home parties that allow guests to enjoy a spa experience in the privacy of one’s home. Guests learn about their skin, how to care for it and how to help slow the signs of aging.

Photographers will be offering photo sessions for engagement portraits that are worth from $500 to $800, Maxwell said.

Cloak Photography, which is located in the Burbank Town Center mall, is great at creating the couple’s fantasy in their portraits.

“They take what is the couple’s most wildest dreams and illustrate it in their portraits,” Maxwell said. “Their photographs are very ethereal.”

Another photography vendor at the event is Dave and Ash Photography.

“They tell a story with their photography,” Maxwell added.

Entertaining throughout the day will be Ricky Lorek with RCL Entertainment. He’s a disc jockey who performs percussion live while backed by recorded music.

“The energy he generates its just electric!” Maxwell said.

Several local confectioners will be offering scrumptious tastes of delectable wedding cakes, including Martino’s Bakery, Cakery Bakery, Cakes by Chloe and Sweet Buffet.

The fashion show will showcase romantic gown designs for the bride and her bridal party while featuring dashing tuxedos for the groom and groomsmen.

Still looking for that perfect engagement ring? Glittering examples will be shown by Media City Jewelers, which will be offering a lovely raffle prize. Last year it was a pearl necklace.

“We don’t know what they will be providing this year,” Maxwell said. “It will be a surprise!”

To choose the location of your dreams, several representatives from the area will be attending, including Calamigos  Equestrian, which is also offering a case of Chardonnay for the raffle.

JC Party Rentals will bring an elegant centerpiece for the lucky winner. Lancome, Estee Lauder, L’Oreal and Clinique are providing gift baskets and representatives will be on hand to help the bride look stunning for her close-ups.
