The event took place in the parking lot of Logix Credit Union at Hollywood Way & Vanowen Street, with plenty of activities. The best part of the morning was that the Bike Angel Program took in 69 bikes in only three hours of operation. The donated bikes will be fixed, shined and made ready to be given to youths this Christmas.

Logix member Louise O’Malley-Carny combed both LA and Orange Counties for used bikes. donating a impressive 13 bikes.

Logix member Sharon Carder collected contributions from her co-workers, then approached their employer, Detroit Industrial Tool in Van Nuys, who matched their contribution.

Yogurtland supplied delicious yogurt and goodies at the bike drive, plus made a generous contribution.

Logix employee Brad Blue created an innovative time lapse video of the bike drive – see it here: http://youtu.be/05SDrVtfuX8
