Burbank Tournament of Roses Association once again outdid themselves as they were awarded the Fantasy Trophy at this year’s 125th Rose Parade.

The float entitled, “Lights! Camera! Action!,” was conceived, built and decorated completely by volunteers along with the City of Burbank’s financial backing and has become a huge source of pride for the City each year.
Renowned film Director, Writer, and Producer, Garry Marshall and his son, Scott, were on the float as it passed down the parade route. Marshall also owns the Falcon Theater in Burbank.
The Fantasy Trophy is presented each year to the float with the Most Outstanding Display of Fantasy & Imagination.
The float will be escorted back to Burbank for public viewing on Thursday.
The parade, with Dodger legend Vin Scully as the Grand Marshal, went flawlessly. Photographer Ross A. Benson captured some of the site from this year’s parade.
