The Burroughs girls basketball team is determined to defend its league title from this past season. The Indians played 53 games this summer against some stiff competition finishing 34-19. Here are their updated results through July 20-
Palm Springs Tourney
Burroughs 30 Palm Springs 15
Brooke Radcliff had 8 points and 5 rebounds.
Redondo 35 Burroughs 30
Davina Del Castillo had 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals. Abbey Ibarra had 5 pts.
Oaks Christian 37 Burroughs 30
Sienna Brown had 6 points, Abbey Ibarra had 6 points, Davina Del Castillo had 7 points, and Brooke Radcliff had 6 points.
Lakeside 43 Burroughs 26
Davina Del Castillo had 9 points, Abbey Ibarra had 4 points, and Jordan Meltzer had 5 points.
