John Burroughs High School celebrates its 5th annual Live! at the Burroughs Bowl end-of-year music show at the JBHS outdoor amphitheater Saturday May 18th at 7pm. Presented by the JBHS Instrumental Music Association, this popular concert and picnic features the entire instrumental music program performing some of Hollywood’s most memorable music.
The Burroughs’ award-winning Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble will warm up with famous scores from popular feature films and TV shows, followed by a sing-a-long musical tribute to movie favorites. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets. Food and beverages will be also available for purchase at the event.
