The 3rd Annual Cardboard Box City benefiting Family Promise of East San Fernando Valley (FP-ESFV) was held October 15-16 in the parking lot of the Church of the Incarnation in Glendale. Participants raised $100 or more for the privilege of staying overnight in Box City, and made their own box “home” or a pop-up tent. Pictured in the Box City dwelling awarded “Most Creative” are, from left to right, Ilana Gale, Cailey McLurkin and Johanna Devine. Box City proceeds will help FP-ESFV continue to help situationally homeless families in North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale and Eagle Rock find lasting independence.
