For over 60 years, Family Service Agency has been helping students and Burbank residence alike.
Residents came together to support this year’s walk which took place at Johnny Carson Park.
Care Walk helps raise needed funds so several of the programs Family Service Agency provides can continue. Family Service Agency of Burbank (FSA) is a non-profit, community-based service agency staffed by experienced administrators, licensed mental health professionals, educators, certified facilitators, case managers, and interns.
Founded in 1953, their mission remains to provide low cost/no cost support services and programs designed to address the psycho-social, mental health, challenges that prevent individuals, couples and families from leading healthy, safe, productive lives.
Family Service Agency of Burbank was formed as the first, and remains, the only local non-profit community-based agency providing critical life-changing, often life-saving, counseling, psycho-educational and residential programs to our community’s most fragile of youth and families.
Besides walking a 5 K, every participant was able to munch on hot pancakes and all the fixings prior to leaving. They also received a ‘goodie bag’ with plenty of surprises from Warner Bros., Disney, IKEA, and other local merchants.
