Why is the Burbank City Council Voting to Diminish Public Oversight?

Every Board – corporate, nonprofit and, yes, school district – has a legal and non-negotiable fiduciary duty to protect the interests of those they represent

Due to yet another example of poor decision making, I question the ability of BUSD board members to serve as Trustees of the Burbank Unified School District

Questions that need answers if you are to be trusted to oversee hundreds of millions of dollars of public money and the education of the youth of Burbank

I want to express my disappointment in the BUSD Board of Education and their oversight of the management and financial accountability of our District

I am writing to express serious concerns about a vendor contract approved by the Burbank Unified School District (BUSD) Board of Education that raises troubling questions about transparency, accountability, and the fair treatment of classified employees.

"The burden of proof is always on the accuser and in this case the 'proof' was almost non existent"

It won't surprise me at all when I hear the news that this man attacked and hurt somebody in the future and wonder why our legal system doesn't do a better job of protecting us
