Racer and his partner Honey are here to prove mutts make the best pups! This pair has a little Cattle Dog, Pointer, maybe a dash of Terrier and Dalmatian in them. They both found themselves relinquished to the Burbank Animal Shelter after their owner sadly passed away. Racer is a tripod, missing a rear leg, but the shelter thinks it just helps him run a little faster (less weight to carry). Sammie and Luna were brought to the Burbank Animal Shelter when their previous owner became ill and could no longer care for them. They are a very sweet pair of bonded dogs that need to stay together as they rely heavily on each other. Sammie is a male, black and brown brindle pitbull terrier around four years old and Luna is a female white pitbull around the same age.

On the second night of Chanukah, which is celebrated from December 18-26, the Chabad of Burbank hosted an outdoor Menorah lighting ceremony with the community and dignitaries along the AMC Walkway in Downton Burbank. Rabbi Shmuly Kornfeld led the ceremony that has been a tradition for over a decade.
