The Burbank Police Foundation held its annual Family Fun Festival at Johnny Carson Park on Saturday, October 5. This year's attendance was the largest in the history of the Festival. 

When completed, the mixed-use business park will include 18 buildings representing 1.25 million square feet of creative industrial, creative office, and retail space along with a 150-room hotel

The annual cabaret style fundraiser showcases John Burroughs High School student choirs performing a variety of well-known Broadway tunes.

This will remind the public the importance of regular breast cancer screening to promote early detection.

With multiple weekend performances October 4-12, the students of Burbank High School bring "Alice in Wonderland" to the stage in a show suitable for all ages.

Burbank has another California State Teacher of the Year for 2020 with John Burroughs High School Drama teacher Guy Myers, who was recognized with four other "incredible" teachers by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond.

Now in its 88th year serving Burbank's residents, Burbank Coordinating Council holds its first meeting of the season on Monday, October 7, and will honor Campership donors and make plans for the upcoming Holiday Baskets program.
