Boys and Girls Club offers a truckload of prizes during Saturday's Gala while honoring businesses and individuals who give back to the Burbank community. Special recognition goes to Carlos Huerta, 2012 Youth of the Year, for turning his life around with support from the club. He's on his way to college with hopes of becoming a restauranteur.

YMCA Breakfast Serves 600 Hungry People

This community breakfast began at 7:30 a.m. and for the next four hours served approximately 600 participants as volunteers estimated that they “flipped” over 2,000 pancakes and browned 1,200 tasty sausages
