The VBAS will be holding a day long fundraiser at Barragan’s Restaurant on June 13. 2024 to kick off the VBAS 30th Anniversary celebration.

The Burbank Animal Shelter is out of kennel space for our dogs. You can save a life by fostering a dog. Even if you can only foster for a week, it will save lives. We will match fosters to dogs that fit your lifestyle, and we provide all the food and supplies you will need.

Singtho is a polite young lady from the Burbank Animal Shelter that is looking for her forever home. She is a great cat for anyone looking for a low maintenance independent cat who is fine doing her own thing.

Leila is a 1 year and 9 month old Pit Bull Terrier with a heart of gold. After spending the last 2 1/2 months in a loving foster home, she's ready to find her forever family.

Hello, it’s me-ow. Adele is a very sweet and gentle but slightly anxious young kitty, looking for her fur-ever emotional support human.

It was a day of wagging tails and belly rubs at Leadership Burbank’s “A Cause for Paws” fundraising event this past Saturday at Johnny Carson Park. Money raised went to help complete their class project of updating the Burbank Animal Shelter facility to allow the animals more exercise space.

This dynamic duo are both high energy and clever. Salt is a little older and plays a little rougher, while also being super smart and curious. Peppa is younger, smaller and goofier, with a stronger attraction to people.

Say hello to big Blankie. Who doesn’t love a big cozy Blankie that makes them feel safe and comfortable? Well, this guy offers that and more! He’s a big big fella, and strong, so he needs humans who understand and are not intimidated but that.

Max is a one-year-old neutered male, black and white Siberian Husky at the Burbank Animal Shelter.  Max was found as a stray and had a microchip however nobody came to claim him.

Meet Bobby – The Gentle Senior Lhasa Apso at the Burbank Animal Shelter. Bobby is approximately 15 years old and is currently in a foster home.
